Announcing the Summer Institute in Computational Social Science at UW
The Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences is excited to support the Summer Institute in Computational Social Science at the University of Washington (SICSS-UW). From July 6-17, SICSS-UW will bring together participants from around the world for an intensive two-week program seeking to bridge the gap between AI innovation and social science applications through hands-on learning, collaborative research, and open science practices.
Participant Opportunities: Since presenters at SICSS-UW will be local to UW and/or Seattle, we encourage interested UW graduate students to apply to participate in other SICSS host locations (more info here) to broaden their exposure to people and ideas that are less represented in our quantitative social science community. More information about SICSS-UW can be found at the event website.
