CSSS Students Join the College of Education to Celebrate Harvest Festival

The Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS) joined the College of Education’s Office of Student and Academic Services to co-host a festive Harvest Festival in Miller Hall on October 31, 2025. The Halloween-themed event brought together students and faculty from across departments for an afternoon of pumpkin painting, caramel apple decorating, goodie bag assembling, and a spirited costume contest. 

The collaboration was initiated by Yijie Wang, CSSS Graduate Student Representative and PhD candidate in the College of Education, with support from CSSS Director and staff. Yijie is also spearheading interdisciplinary student writing groups and a student-only seminar this Autumn quarter.
