New Affiliate Faculty, 2024-25
During the 2024–2025 academic year, CSSS welcomed 21 new affiliate faculty members. These UW faculty come from a diverse range of disciplines, both within and beyond the College of Arts and Sciences. Their research interests span a fascinating range of substantive applications and methodology development, from studying disparities in health care access (Biostatistics) to functional morphology and biomechanics in human and nonhuman primates (Anthropology), to developing statistical techniques for analyzing how networks of brain regions contribute to complex behaviors and neurological disorders (Psychology), to advancing large-scale optimization, machine learning, and data science methods (Applied Mathematics/IHME). Come join CSSS seminars to learn more and to build connections!
