New paper introduces latent space model for bipartite networks

Adrian Raftery and his colleagues have published a new paper in PNAS that introduces a latent space model for bipartite networks and uses this model to analyze the temporal evolution of the network of corporate board interlocks in Ireland in the years leading up to and following the 2008/9 financial crisis. Their results show that the level of interlocks increased from 2003 to 2009 and then stabilized.
