Academic Student Employee Salary Policy
For Teaching Assistants (TAs) appointed by CSSS, CSSS follows the Statistics department’s Variable Rate Salary Schedule for PhD graduate students.
Research Assistants (RAs) funded by a grant, gift, or a contract that is administered through CSSS, will be paid at the student’s academic home department rate, as stated in the UW Graduate School policy.
Predoc Instructors (PDIs) who are teaching 1 or 2 credit courses for CSSS, will be paid at the Statistics department PDTA2 rate from the Variable Rate Salary Schedule.
