Joint Position with Sociology My work develops statistical models targeting questions in sociology, demography, and health. My main focus areas are developing statistical models that parsimoniously represent high-dimensional, complex dependence structure in social networks; estimating vital rates from sparsely sampled data; and incorporating uncertainty and interpretability in predictive models. I'm currently a faculty member in the Statistics and Sociology Departments and a Senior Data Science Fellow in the eScience Institute. My Ph.D. is from Columbia University (Statistics).
