Abstract:
This presentation will include a review of the survey methodology and results of Project NEXUS (Needle Exchange Utilization Survey), a CDC-funded survey of people who use drugs. Participants were recruited at syringe services programs across the United States and invited to complete a biobehavioral survey, which included HIV and hepatitis C testing.
Dr. Sara Glick is an Associate Professor in the University of Washington’s School of Medicine and an epidemiologist in the HIV/STI/HCV Program at Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC). Her research focuses on health outcomes related to injection drug use and harm reduction interventions.
